Disorder, Disorder, Disorder we're ALL ABOUT THE DISORDER!!

So this post is going to be about Disorder and our last issue which was based on Americana we had Cher on our front cover which is shot by Elliott (our photography editor) with all issues being the fashion editor everything fashion comes through myself. So from putting the get the look page to going along to shoots to arranging photographers stylists. This edition i got the great opportunity to work with an amazing photographer called Claire Pepper to do a 6 page editorial based on generlisations of American women. Anyone that knows me knows I don't like to do to serious shoot (the matter might be serious but I like to make shoot days as fun as possible so people are happy and want to do great work)..I had a great team working on the shoot and I had my uber major assistant Josh Abbot on set with me (it was basically like a mothers meeting) and we had THE most amazing model who is called Anya @ Storm!! She was such a sport and actually was very good as the characters. So the shoot was called Blonde Ambition and in the image on this page Anya is wearing Dress,Handbang, Jacket & Belt by Jasper Garvida handcuffs are by Ann Summers sunglasses are by Kirk Orignals.

Make up was by Holly Johnson using Krylon & Hair is by Margorlda Marinha using MOP

Other brands that were used within the shoot include Superdry,Punky Allsorts, Vans, Jeremy Scott for Addidas, ASH & Asos to name a few!!

I hope you guys like the shoot!!

Leddra Chapman!!

So as I said in my earlier post I feel like I need to do three posts as I've been doing so much lately!! I want to dedicate this blog post to Leddra Chapman a beautiful upcoming singer who I had the pleasure to style two years ago for an editorial & front cover shoot for Cellardoor magazine. Which was shot with the wonderful Rikard Osterlund (he's a gem)..

Well as fate tells it I get a phone call from Leddra asking to have a meeting..Anyways translates to me & her coming together for me to be her stylist. I love styling Leddra she is such a pleasure to work with & has incredible banter. As she has up coming music video's and shoots & a tour coming up.

For all of you that don't know Leddra you really should google her and find out what she's about!! So the first thing I styled her for was her gig at Pure London in conjunction with Quicksilver.

Leddra is wearing on stage Quicksilver top & shorts tights by topshop, knee high socks by Scarlet Rage Vintage boots by Simmi & peace headband by Luna Moon

Second outfit Leddra is wearing is for & upcoming music video she did with Redzz she is wearing Shirt, trousers & leather jacket all by Three Floors Fashion label, ring by Scarlet Rage Vintage.

Big things to still come from Leddra so watch this space!!

Catch up, catch up!! Jasper Garvida!!

So i feel like I need to do three blog posts at the moment as there has been alot of differn't things been going on so I think I'm going to dedicate this one to the amazing designer Jasper Garvida.

I was privalleged to be asked to style his London Fashion Week show for the second season. We again had it in the elegant Bloomsbury Hotel. Second season in and I truly feel like the Garvida team are like family to me and I do feel very honoured to be involved in anything Jasper does as he is a genius!!

So this season's collection (A/W12) was very close to my heart as it based around 1940's pieces and legendanry woman Marlene Dietrich which when I heard that I was SOLD! Didn't even need to look at the pieces I was already in love!

I also love that when I work with Jasper he lets me really get involved in coming up with hair and make up and styling ideas for the show. We had the wonderful Herman Ho again this season doing hair (whom I love) and also AOFM doing all the make up. For the make up ideas I wanted to keep in tone with Jaspers inspirations and still keep it luxerious. For make up I wanted the focus to be purely on the eyes & having a really strong almost stern eye yet with the skin keeping it fresh and almost like the girls were sweating as they were our REVOLUTIONAIRIES! For hair Jasper had the great idea of using the old helmets with the horse hair and flipping it to make something totally differn't.

So here are some personal images of behind the scenes of the process that goes into producing that show that hopefully you all saw. From Run through to make up test to choosing outfits with models to backstage.

I'd like to say a big thank you to Yukon, Justin, Jasper, my assistant (Jess), Carolina, my backstage dressers & all of Jaspers design team.

All accessories (socks, necklaces, earrings, belts, braclets, tights) are all from Scarlet Rage Vintage.

Levi's Curve ID

So recently I got the chance to meet & be shot by the amazing photographer Perou for the Levi's real women campaign. Which was a huge honour for me.

For many of you that may not know, I actually only wear Levi's curve ID jeans as there only jeans that suit me (well when I say suit they make my junk look good if ya get me).

Perou was such a lovely guy to have a chin wag with, we had a giggle and then I maybe semi flirted with him while he took my picture. I did ask him to photoshop me but he said "No - were not photoshopping anyone" I was rather upset by this as this was my only chance to be transformed into a size 6 5'10 model look a like. DAMN THEM!!

But I was very glad there was some good lighting and I have borrowed the heels which are by Office off the Grazia girls who were there on shoot.

Shirt is by Volcom Jeans are by Levi's shoes are office & necklace is customade.

What ya know!!

I am trying to keep up with this blogging thing. I tend to find myself doing posts late at night though - Hmm. Least I'm trying to find the time to fill you guys in on what's going on..

So Disorder's 37th is out with the sexy Elliott aka Example as our double cover. I didn't style this shoot but worked very closely with the stylist over Elliott's look for this cover and editorial. As this is our dapper issue we wanted to change Example's look and take him out of his urban garms and into something a lil more savvy!! I was also able to meet him on the day of the shoot and he was the loveliest guy I've ever met. I've included a cheeky behind the scenes image of him from the shoot.

We also teamed up with Gio-Goi for our launch party for the 37th issue which I organised and we held it at The Relentless garage which everyone had a really good time and you can find the video of the event on www.disordermagazine.com

Elliott is wearing suit by H&M, Adidas trainers, shirt by Brutus.

This issue is packed full of amazing people such as Kelly Kutrone the fashion LEGEND, Misfits, Only Way is Essex & Made in Chelsea.

First I want to get onto Only Way is Essex - as I am totally addicted to that show. We really couldn't of been happier having them in this issue of Disorder. They were sooo lovely to have on set & completely down to earth and exactly what there like on TV. We had the cast members Harry (total babe), Sam (So sweet & nice), Arg (Completely down to earth & funny guy) and last but not least the beautiful Lydia (who was a little ray of sunshine & totally up for a laugh). We also had a great stylist who transformed the cast into exactly what we wanted. So thanks to Tom E (he's a star).

I managed to get my hands on to style the Made in Chelsea cast which was great. They too were a total pleasure to style and work with. We had the cast members Rosie (Very cleaver & beautiful lady) Jamie (who I might of wanted to fit in my pocket as the amount of jokes he had was amazing) Binky (Sweet and vibrant) and fashion forward Amber - who's online boutique Flash Trash I actually adore!!

The girls are all wearing Aiden Maddox dresses with a mixture of jewlry from Flash Trash & Newlook and all shoes are from Newlook and Jamie is wearing Paul Costelloe runway suit with Herring shoes.

Jasper Garvida LFW show S/S12

Hello Wonderful people!!

So I thought I'd do a little bit of an update of what I've been up to..Hope your all recovering after London Fashion week!! Sadly I had a cold during most of it so had to bow out of the first couple of days to attend my sick bed!!

But lets get onto the good bits. This season I was asked by the master of wonderfulness Jasper Garvida to style his S/S12 catwalk show. This was a new era for Jasper as he took this collection to ANOTHER LEVEL!! It was based on 60's Vogue editor Diana Vreland and also Frantisek Kupka’s painting ‘Autour d’un Point'.

With the styling I wanted to keep it very simple yet have an edge. I imagined the woman that would wear Jasper's pieces would be a total glamazon who was the CEO of a company yet had kids and a husband who she still looked after. She would be effortlessly chic yet fierce at the same time. For shoes I used clear perspex heels to take the outfits a bit more edgier then we used a metallic gold peep toe and also a black peep toe shoe to bring that summer feel to the collection. The jewelry we used were gold and silver cuffs, silver oblong rings, jet black stone rings and earrings we had silver with black and gold with black mesh long drop earrings. The reason why I only used one long drop was the fact it complimented the outfits a lot more and also made them a little more young and fresh yet still sophisticated. Jasper had made the most wonderful handbags & silver sequin belts that styled within outfits as well. I also found the most amazing 1950's style sunglasses which I thought looked amazing on the models and just gave the collection that nod to the past yet still looking very present.

The make up was done by my very good friend Michelle Webb in association with AOFM the hair was also done by my cupcake partner in crime Herman Ho. With hair and make up we wanted to make the girls into the Jasper Garvida girls. Fresh faced natural day (almost dewy) look and the hair was a structured beehive/pony tail.

I have to say a big thank you to my first assistants Jo B and Alex O & all the dressers that helped backstage. I'm very thankful to my assistants for helping me backstage. Also I'd like to say a big thank you to Yukun & Jasper for giving me the opportunity to style the show it was such an amazing experience. Also thanks to Lucas for coming and doing the backstage video for the show and last but not least Justin!!

I've attached the video for you guys to watch & also some images of my favourite looks.
